Kyaking Down Sugar Creek
At Turkey Run State Park
We had so much fun kyaking down this creek with the family. An easy route with mostly shallow waters, this trip marked one of the few times I was proud to be small, as my fairly light boat never got stuck on the riverbed. We also hiked one of the trails through beautiful sandstone ravines, which were carved by glaciers over 300-600 million years and still boast a few small waterfalls and streams at its centre. Water shoes were a must for me.
